As last year, the envelopes will be delivered but not collected. Details of how to give will be provided with the envelope. If you could spare time to help with delivery of the envelopes between the above dates, please sign your name of the board in the church entrance. I will then leave the required envelopes to be collected nearer the time. Many thanks. Lyndsey McGuinness (Organiser).
The Diocesan financial office advises us that we have £14,000 left from our parish share in your Mission Together contributions. A similar amount was used to fence the car park. Have you any suggestions as to how this money might be spent on improvements? We could just use it to pay for pending building repairs, but is there anything more urgent, anything you think the parish needs? Please write to me with ideas. (Anonymous notes will obviously not be acknowledged but may be considered.)

Since the beginning of lockdown and the reopening of church, one can’t help noticing the number of new faces coming to Mass. We try to be inclusive and welcoming. On the inner window-sill in the porch there are some pink forms. They are for the parish census. If you have newly joined our parish community please would you take a form home and complete it, and place it in the cardboard box provided. If you have moved within the parish, it is helpful if you also would kindly fill in a new form. Some addresses are now like empty nests when the youngsters have flown, so updates are always appreciated.
There is an important meeting of the committee on Wednesday 11 May at 7.00pm in the URC.
