Sacraments

This section of the website is dedicated to the various sacraments including; baptism, confession, confirmation, holy communion, marriage and anointing of the sick.

Confessions

Confessions are Saturdays 10am to 10.30am and 5.15pm to 5.40pm and on request. Preparation for children starts at Catechism class beginning in September each year.

Baptism

Please have a word with the parish priest after mass and he will give you an appointment form and talk through what is required. Out of courtesy if you do not live in this parish would you please ask your own parish priest in the first instance.

Eucharist

Eucharist. Preparation for children starts at Catechism class beginning in September each year.

Confirmation

The bishop comes every alternate year to administer the sacrament for children 13+ and adults. Courses usually start in June, when notice will be given via the church News section and on our Newsletter.

Marriages

Marriages are by prior appointment and a range of pre-marriage information and guidance services are available. Please contact us for more information.

Anointing of the sick

Please let the priest know if anyone is seriously ill. They van have Communion at home, and the special healing sacrament for sick people.
