Sacraments

This section of the parish website is dedicated to the various sacraments including; baptism, confession, confirmation, holy communion, marriage and anointing of the sick.

Confessions
Confessions. Saturday 10.00 – 10.30; 5.15 – 5.40 and on request. Preparation for children starts at Catechism class beginning in September each year.
What does the chruch teach?

Baptism
Please have a word with the parish priest after mass and he will give you an appointment form and talk through what is required. Out of courtesy if you do not live in this parish would you please ask your own parish priest in the first instance.

Eucharist
Eucharist. Preparation for children starts at Catechism class beginning in September each year.
What does the church teach?

Confirmation
The bishop comes every alternate year to administer the sacrament for children 13+ and adults. Courses usually start in June, when notice will be given via the church newsletter.

Marriages
Marriages are by prior appointment and a range of pre Marriage information and guidance services are available. Please contact the parish priest.
What does the church teach?

Anointing of the Sick
Please let the priest know if anyone is seriously ill. They van have Communion at home, and the special healing sacrament for sick people.
