PLEASE PRAY FOR Mary Sawer and Meryl Wernham who have died. May the Lord welcome them to heavenly peace and bring comfort to their family
and friends.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Many congratulations to the children who received their first Holy Communion on Saturday. They will join us for a special celebration at our 10.30am Mass next Sunday. The music group will be playing at
the Mass and there will be refreshments for all afterwards.
A QUIZ NIGHT is planned for Friday, 24 May in the Church Rooms. Tickets are limited to 60 people. The entry fee is £2 per person including
children. Tickets will be on sale after each Mass at weekend. They can also be booked by calling Mike Caine on 01925 751626. There will be a raffle on the night and donation of prizes would be very welcome Please leave in the marked tub at the Church entrance.
CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 12th – 19th May: We have been asked to deliver leaflets for Christian Aid. The envelopes are at the back of the church. If you are able to help, please
could you collect a pack (labelled with the street names) and sign your name on the board so I know they are being delivered. They must be delivered by the 14th.
PARISH MISSALS: we seem to be getting a little short of these. If you have one at home, can you please bring it back.
PARISH DAY: The Core Group have completed their period of formation and practical plans are now being made for a Parish Day on 13 July to
which everyone is invited. Over the next few weeks you will hear more about the Day and how you can help in the preparation and on the day itself.
Please book the date in your diary. It is so important that you all feel you can play your part in planning the future life and mission of our parish.
THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
is available during Adoration on Tuesday evenings.
