SUNDAY MORNING MASSES: I am delighted to announce that with effect from 15 February, Father Bernard Forshaw will be helping me with the 10.30am Mass here in Lymm and the 11.00am Mass in Knutsford.
FIRST SACRAMENTS PREPARATION PROGRAMME: Parents of any children in year 3 or older who would like to receive their First Forgiveness and Holy Communion should contact Anne Mottershead or Christel. The programme begins on 26th
February.
JOINT PARISH CAMBODIA LINK: Father David and 11 Parishioners from St Winefride’s and St Vincent’s set off to Cambodia this Sunday and look forward to sharing their experiences with us following their return.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to join our Children’s Liturgy team at the Sunday Mass. This is a rota-based role. Contact Christel Casse, Lay Pastoral Assistant: 07874 135843.
CONFIRMATION: Bishop Mark will celebrate Confirmation at St Vincent’s on 17th June. The programme of preparation will begin with a meeting for parents and candidates at 7pm on Thursday 30 April and then an all-day session
for candidates on Saturday, 9 May beginning at 10am in St Vincent’s Parish Hall. Anyone in Year 8 or upwards (who is a baptised Catholic) is welcome to join the group. Registration forms can be downloaded from St Vincent’s website or obtained from Father David.
REFLECTION: A Different Kind of Happiness by Christel Casse, Lay Pastoral Assistant In the Beatitudes, Jesus reveals a different vision of happiness, rooted in trust in God, mercy, and faithfulness. He reminds us that God
is close to those who suffer for what is right and that the values of the Kingdom lead to true and lasting joy.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and after weekday Mass.
