HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER
Our parish Health and Safety officer, Mike
Hosker, is stepping down and we need an “internet
savvy”parishioner to receive and implement the helpful messages
from the excellent Diocesan H&S officer, Julie Tinsley. Parishioner James O’Shea has already offered to assist any
new official parish H & S volunteer, as he has done previously for decades. We’re so grateful to James for his past and on-going help. Julie Tinsley is standing by to give any advice and encouragement to our new officer, – could
that be you?… If so, please see Father Tony for further information. We thank Mike for all his work.
PLEASE NOTE: Fr Tony Elder can be contacted on the
number (now correctly) printed at the top of the newsletter, or by e-mail.
 The landline 752224 ceased to
 be operative on last Friday.
Fr David Long’s number is 01565
 633040 and his e-mail is longdv1@aol.com if
 you wish to contact him.
SUNDAY CHILDREN’S
LITURGY:  It would be fantastic to bring Mass and
conclude with the children bringing the offertory to Father and re-joining their parents. It’s a lovely time for the children where they can meet new friends and take part in drawing and reading. We would like to set up a meeting early September for any volunteers
who would like to help. We need at least 2 adults to run the class so if that’s all we have, we can only run the class on the first Sunday of the month. However, if we could get a pool of 6 or more we can possibly run the class every Sunday and rotate the
responsibility which would be ideal. Please do consider getting involved.  Contact Lindsey on 07722
 629713 or Rowena on 07974

SUNDAY CHILDREN’S LITURGY –
It would be fantastic to bring back the popular
Sunday Children’s Liturgy.
This used to take place in conjunction with the start of 10.30 Mass and conclude with the children bringing the offertory to Father and re-joining their parents. It’s a lovely time for the children
where they can meet new friends and take part in drawing and reading. We would like to set up a meeting early September for any volunteers who would like to help. We need at least 2 adults to run the class so if that’s all we have, we can only run the class
on the first Sunday of the month. However, if we could get a pool of 6 or more we can possibly run the class every Sunday and rotate the responsibility which would be ideal. Please do consider getting involved.  Contact Lindsey on 07722 629713 or Rowena on
