READINGS AT MASS – St Paul continues his attempt to convince the people in Rome that they have received so many wonderful things now they have become followers of Jesus. The prophet Jeremiah and also the
gospel reading tell us to have courage and not to be afraid. The current feast days of St John Fisher and St Thomas More, and the Holyday this week in honour of St Peter and St Paul, remind us just how much courage Christians need, being faithful until death
if necessary.
