NEWS AND INFORMATION
CAN YOU HELP? I am grateful to those who have volunteered to transport Fr John Paul from and to Romiley for our 10.30am last week and this. If anyone could do the
same on Sundays 17 and 24 December, could you please let me know. Many thanks.
SUPPORT FOR WARRINGTON FAMILIES:
Once again St Josephs’ Family Centre are seeking to provide a Christmas Hamper and supermarket gift vouchers for families experiencing extreme financial difficulties this Christmas. Any donations of tins, packets and
long-life foods as well as selection boxes, chocolates and biscuits can be placed the in the red bin in the porch and will be taken to the St Joseph’s Centre. Today is the last opportunity for you to make donations.
SUPPORT YOUR PARISH: I am grateful to those who have put their names forward to join the Core Group. Ideally, I would like 10-12 people. The group will work with
me to plan a Parish Day in the New Year when the whole parish can come together and reflect on how to develop our life and mission. If you would like to join this group, please let me have your name, email and phone number.
A SERVICE OF PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION: to help us prepare for Christmas will be held on Tuesday, 19 December at 6.30pm. There will be readings and reflections
together with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the opportunity for individual Confession.
CHRISTMAS MASSES AT ST WINEFRIDE’S: The first Mass of Christmas will be on Christmas Eve at 7pm preceded by readings and carols from 6.30pm; and at 9am on Christmas
morning. (There will be a Vigil Mass at 5pm and Midnight Mass at 9pm on Christmas Eve and 11am on Christmas morning at St Vincent’s in Knutsford.)
MUSCICIANS AND SINGERS:
There will be a rehearsal for the Christmas Eve Carol Service and Mass on Monday 18 December at 7pm in Church. All are welcome.
