NEWS AND INFORMATION

CAN YOU HELP? I am grateful to those who have volunteered to transport Fr John Paul from and to Romiley. Would somebody be able to volunteer for next Sunday morning?

SUPPORT YOUR PARISH: I am grateful to those who have put their names forward to join the Core Group. Ideally, I would like 10-12 people. The group will work with
me to plan a Parish Day in the New Year when the whole parish can come together and reflect on how to develop our life and mission. If you would like to join this group, please let me have your name, email and phone number.

A SERVICE OF PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION: to help us prepare for Christmas will be held this Tuesday, 19 December at 6.30pm. There will be readings and reflections
together with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the opportunity for individual Confession. Do come along to prepare spiritually for the great feast of Christmas.

CHRISTMAS MASSES AT ST WINEFRIDE’S:
The first Mass of Christmas will be on Christmas Eve at 7pm preceded by readings and carols from 6.30pm; and at 9am on Christmas morning. (There will be a Vigil Mass at 5pm and Midnight Mass at 9pm on Christmas Eve and 11am on Christmas morning at St
Vincent’s in Knutsford.)

MUSCICIANS AND SINGERS:
There will be a rehearsal for the Christmas Eve Carol Service and Mass this Monday 18 December at 7pm in Church. All are welcome.

VIGIL OF READINGS AND CAROLS at St Vincent’s, Knutsford this Thursday 21^st December at 7pm followed by mince pies and mulled wine courtesy of the Catenians
in the hall afterwards. All are very welcome.

CHRISTMAS OFFERINGS: Your offering on Christmas Day is the traditional Christmas Offering to Fr David. Please do take one of the Christmas cards from the table
in the porch.

RETIRNG COLLECTION after all Masses today to support the work of Caritas especially with poor and disadvantaged families in our diocese. The offerings at the Crib
will also go to support Caritas.
