NEWS AND INFORMATION
THE PARISH DAY has now been moved to 28 September. Next week two members of the Core Group will speak about the day at our Masses and how
you can help in the preparation and on the day itself. Please book the date in your diary. It is so important that you all feel you can play your part in planning the future life and mission of our parish.
APPROVAL FOR WORKS:
I am pleased to say that the Diocesan Finance Board has given approval for new railings to be fitted between the church and playing field and gates to be provided for the car park. They have also approved
a new lighting system inside and outside the church and for the church to be decorated. Hopefully these works will be carried out in the near future. They will be financed by the money you kindly gave in response to the “Our Mission Together Appeal” some years
ago.
