NEW APPOINTMENT: In response to the concern expressed at the proposed loss of the 10.30am Mass at St Winefride’s, Bishop Mark has appointed Fr David Irwin (recently appointed to the Wythenshawe Team Ministry) to support us here in
Lymm and in Knutsford by celebrating one of the Sunday morning Masses in either church. He will begin his time with us on 18 February and I am sure you will make him very welcome.

CORE GROUP: Many thanks to those who came to our first meeting. The next formation meeting for the group will be on Tuesday 6 February at 7.30pm.

NEW DIOCESAN YEAR BOOKS are available on the table in the porch at £6 each.  Note, Fr Tony’s telephone number is printed incorrectly it should be 07394 944717.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION; Would parents of children in year 3 or above who wish their child to receive the sacraments of Forgiveness and Holy Communion this year, please complete an enrolment form and return it to Fr David together with
a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate. The programme of preparation will begin this Thursday, 1 February at 5.15pm in the church hall.

PRIEST’S RETIREMNT FUND: The annual collection to support the retired priests of our Diocese will take place after all Masses next weekend.

DON’T FORGET our regular Thursday Tea, Coffee and Toast which takes place after 9.30am Mass and all proceeds support local charities.
