NEWS AND INFORMATION
SUNDAY MORNING MASSES: I am delighted to announce that from today 2 November, Fr Tony Myers will help me with our 10.30am Mass at Lymm and the
11am at Knutsford.
NOVEMBER SOULS: November is the month where traditionally we pray for Holy Souls, especially our loved ones. If you would like the names of
relatives/friends included on our November List, please hand in with your donation. Masses will be celebrated throughout November.
OUR PARISH LUNCH to celebrate the Feast of St Winefride’s is on Friday November 7th at Lymm Golf Club, 12 for 12.30pm. Thank you
for your wonderful response to the event, we look forward to seeing you all there!
MILLENNIUM WALL HANGING: It is 25 years since the completion of our Millennium Wall Hanging, designed and embroidered by ladies from St Winefride’s
parish and several local churches. To mark the anniversary the information booklet has been reprinted and there is a display in the parish rooms which tells the story behind the project and how it was created.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: Our next meeting is on Tuesday 11 November at 7.30pm in the parish rooms.
QUIZ NIGHT: Congratulations and a thank you to all who participated. It was a good fun night. Donations, ticket sales, and a raffle resulted in
£300.00 for our Joint Parish Cambodia Link.
BLESSED ARE YOU – In Sermon on the Mount, Jesus turns the world’s idea of happiness upside down. The Beatitudes remind us that true blessing
isn’t found in wealth, comfort, or power, but in humility, mercy, purity, and the desire for righteousness. When we live with compassion, seek peace, and trust God through trials, we share in His joy and grace. The Beatitudes invite us to see life through
Christ’s eyes; where even in sorrow or struggle, we are deeply loved and blessed by God. Reflection by Christel Casse. Lay Pastoral Assistant
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and after weekday Mass.
