HOLY DAY:
This Thursday is the Feast of the Ascension and is a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be Mass here at 7pm. There is also a Vigil Mass at 7pm on Wednesday evening and Mass at
noon on Thursday at Knutsford.
A DATE FOR YOUR DIARIES: A fun
Quiz Night is planned for Friday, 24 May in the Church Rooms. Tickets are limited to 60 people. The entry fee is £2 per person including children. Tickets will be on sale after each Mass at weekend. They can also be booked by calling Mike Caine on 01925
751626. There will be a raffle on the night and donation of prizes would be very welcome Please leave in the marked tub at the Church entrance.
THE CATHOLIC PARISH SUMMIT will be taking place in Harrogate from 12-14 June. With international speakers
and events, it will inspire, equip and connect parishes so that they can grow and thrive. Full details are on the website:

ideas back to help our parish develop its sense of Mission.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Next Saturday at 11am, 4 children from the parish will make their first Holy Communion. Please remember them and their families in your prayers. All are welcome to join them at
the Mass. WE will welcome all the children to our 10.30am Mass on 18 May and there will be a celebration for them after Mass in the parish rooms.
THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION is available during the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament each Tuesday
from 6.30pm.
PARISH MISSALS: we seem to be getting a little short of these. If you have one at home, can you please
bring it back.
THE CORE GROUP will meet this Tuesday after Mass.
