MISSIO RED BOXES: The contents of these are due to be collected. Please return your boxes as soon as possible to the sacristy. Many thanks.
MANY THANKS from the SVP for your generous response in last week’s retiring collection which raised £390.50 to support their work in the parish with the sick and the poor and with their overseas projects.
THE PRAYER GROUP will meet at 7pm on Monday, 16 December in the church hall. All are welcome.
CHRISTMAS MUSIC: There will be a rehearsal for the Christmas Eve service for musicians and singers on Monday 23rd December at 7pm. All welcome.
THE ENQUIRY GROUP will take a break now until after Christmas. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, 2 January at 7pm in St Vincent’s Hall.
ADVENT TALKS ON THE WORD OF GOD at Holy Angels Hales Barns each Wednesday in December at 7pm. Our own Fr David Irwin will give the talk on 18 December. See poster for full details.
A SERVICE OF PENANCE AND RECONCILIATION in preparation for Christmas on Tuesday, 17 December at 6.15pm. There will be readings and prayers with an extended period of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament followed by our evening Mass.
PLEASE PRAY Anthony Wernham who has died and whose funeral service will be at St Winefride’s on 10 December at 10.30am.
CHRISTMAS MASSES: There will be a Vigil Mass at 7pm preceded by a Vigil of Readings at Carols at 6.30pm on Christmas Eve and Mass at 9am
on Christmas morning here at Lymm. There will be a Vigil Mass at 5pm and Midnight Mass at 9pm on Christmas Eve and Mass at 11am on Christmas morning in Knutsford.
A NEW BAPTISMAL FONT AND VOTIVE CANDLE STAND have been ordered for Church and hopefully will arrive shortly.
