NEWS AND INFORMATION

THE PARISH DAY will take place on Saturday, 28 September from 10am until 4pm. It is a day for all the family and for all members of the parish
involving fun, reflection and prayer. We will come together to reflect on our Parish Community and the “Joys and Sorrows” of being part of this parish and the local community. There will be time to chat and get to know each other better. A Hot Pot lunch will
be served. We will be joined by Fr Peter Montgomery who will give us a talk and point us forwards as we make decisions of what we would like to develop in our Parish in the coming months and years. Please book the date in your diaries. This is a real opportunity
for everyone to contribute to the way forward for our parish.

CHURCH DECORATING: The church will be closed this week for decorating so Mass on Tuesday and Thursday will be in the Parish Rooms. There will
be no Adoration this week.

40th ORDIANTION ANNIVERSARY: I find it hard to believe but on 29 September I will celebrate the 40th anniversary of my ordination as a priest.
Please join me after the Vigil Mass on Saturday, 28 September for a drink and some nibbles in the parish rooms. On Monday, 30 September you are invited to join me for Mass and a Buffet Reception at 7pm at St Vincent’s, Knutsford. Please sign the list in the
porch if you would like to come so that we can plan the catering.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY: We are desperately in need of some new volunteers to help with the Children’s Liturgy at our 10.30am Mass as some of the
present volunteers have had to step down. It would be very sad to lose this great service to our youngest parishioners. If you can help, please contact Christine Martins on 01925 552655. Many thanks.
